Daniel Travis holds an MFA in acting from Rutgers University and a BFA from Miami University. He has been studying and working with Nancy for the last 15 years, and has an extensive knowledge of Script Analysis and Scene study.
Daniel will help guide you on your journey as an artist and to give you the tools and language necessary to study at Nancy Banks Studio.

“My goal is to foster a safe working environment to allow actors to take risks with their work and to fall in love with their process.”

Lena Georgas has been a professional actor for over 20 years and studied under Nancy Banks for 15 of them. She has a BA in Drama from Vassar College and also studied theater abroad in London. Lena is deeply committed to the craft of acting and all that the discipline entails. She will help the actor develop all of the skills necessary for a truthful, dynamic and lived-in performance.

“Only through discipline and hard work can an artist truly soar. I love woking with an actor on all of the different aspects of their craft. They then feel confident enough to go into a room, set or stage and truly share their gift with joy and abandon.”

Jenny Phagan (Bishop) has been a professional actor and teacher for over 20 years and studied under Nancy Banks for the past decade. She has a BFA in Theatre from Midwestern State University and an MFA in Acting from the University of Arkansas, as well as a member of the National Alliance of Acting Teachers. She has a deep love for the craft of acting, both in performance and education.  Jenny will provide the actor their Nancy Banks Studio foundation.

“My greatest joy is to help young and less experienced actors take the necessary steps to truly discover their talent. I love seeing those lightbulb moments which gives them the freedom to explore and grow."
